Happy Friday! It’s a new month and it’s time to set new goals! No matter how crazy everything gets, I always like to set monthly goals because I find that they help to keep me focused.
Here are my goals for December!
Complete OTF 12 Days of Fitmas
IT’S BACK! After a break last year, Orangetheory is bringing back the 12 Days of Fitmas and I couldn’t be more excited. It’s not as hard as Hell Week workouts, but harder than regular OTF workouts. You have to complete 7 classes in 12 days and the reward is an awesome beanie. When I did this in 2019 we got a cool pair of socks, but the beanie is much better, and cuter! Since I’m doing a few other challenges/streaks this month, I will only be completing the required 7 classes, not all 12!
Complete a Peloton Bootcamp class daily
I was trying to come up with a hard, but doable challenge for December and landed on completing one Peloton bootcamp class a day this month. I’ll plan on completing a 30, 45 or 60 minute tread bootcamp or bike bootcamp each day. I think this is doable since I can alternate between tread and bike bootcamps. Chances are, most of the classes will be with Jess Sims so it should be interesting!
Complete more #YearofJess classes
I have mentioned this a few times before but my favorite Peloton instructor is Jess Sims. She has been an instructor for a few years and one goal I’ve been working on this year is completing all of her classes. This will take some time so it’s not a yearly goal, but I want to continue to make progress on it. I’ve done all of her stretching and walking classes and 60 minute tread bootcamps, but there are SO many more classes to complete. This month my focus will be to complete all of her cardio classes. I have 13 more to complete so I’m confident I can complete that goal.
That’s it for this month – wish me luck!
If you set monthly goals, what are your goals for December?

I don’t take Jess’s classes very often these days because of my injuries, but I miss her so much!

Definitely a busy December up ahead but looking forward to the challenge!

Great challenges. They will keep you busy for sure.
Love the OTF hat. I have a thing for beanies!!
My December goal is to reach 1000 miles or the year, run my 21st race or survive the holiday dinners out with a minimal weight gain.

This will be a tough fitness month but such a great way to stay focused in a month where things can go haywire!! Best of luck and can’t wait to hear how it goes!!
kookyrunner says
Exactly! December is the hardest month for me to stay consistent because of everything going on but I’m determined to stick to a routine and these challenges will help.
Janelle @ Run With No Regrets says
Those are really great fitness goals! It seems like the Peloton app really does have it all! The BootCamp workouts sound like a great challenge!
kookyrunner says
It really does! I always say that there is something for everyone on the Peloton app between the various class types, length of classes and instructors.
